Bob.
I sold my express with 454 Mercruisers with only 250 hours. For less than that and everything was completely redone and the hull was re gel coated and the bottom only had 2 coats of bottom paint since 1999. Not a good time to sell anything houses, boats or art works.

I have a friend that boat would be perfect for. I have been trying to get him to go for it for a couple months. He is a contractor and most of his work is accessed by boat. Year round. Its perfect.

But he promised his wife he would only own 2 boats at a time, and he already has 2.

Too bad they don't want to trade for a 26' Albemarle with an IO. Its got a brand new engine and a brand new outdrive. But he wants to go slightly larger for more comfort in the winter.

Im still working on it, I swear!

If it wasn't equally as hard to get rid of my old gal I would certainly jump on this.

Boats will sell. But the price isn't great but in turn that gets a great deal on a upgrade.

Peter,
Even if you got 20k for your boat and bought Walters, that would in essence get you a diesel conversion with good engines for cheap.

Bruce you are 100% correct, that is very rational, it makes a ton of sense and I would be very proud to own Walter's boat but fo rwhatever reason I haven't brought myself to do it.

I'd do it tomorrow but already have too many boats. I hope that Walter's boat goes to a good steward. Anyone know where UV's boat ended up?

The upside is if you get tossed out of the house, you got a place to stay or until you sell the other boat, two places to stay. :)

Looks like 6 cyl engines. I don't see a turbo in these shots.

What kind of cruising speed and how many MPG do you get with the 210 Cummins on a 31?

You should be around 19 to 20 knot Cruise and stingy on fuel. Lilco might know better but I bet close to 10 gallons an hour. If you do a search of Walters threads, I think he might of said.

walters boat cruises at 20 knots uses not much fuel less than 10 gallons total.
