The dash kit eliminates the windscreen and changes the profile a bit.

John, that looks great, I appreciate how much work that goes into making a helm look understated yet functional.. Every time you slip her into gear and look down at those gauges will be worth all the effort.. Ask me how I know..BH

Thanks for the nice words. Jimmy--I like the way you did yours. The problem with mine, as you probably know from having it on Fighting Angel, is that the screen reads really well when you're sitting in front of it, and not so well when its to your side like that.

Looks great John. Have you run it yet? I'm curious to know how it does deflecting the wind.

John the compass sitting on the vertical saves quite a bit of precious dashboard space ,i like that idea as well as the the nice finishing work.

John

Nice work. I don't think I could do that. Did you paint her at all?

Thanks again. I've run her just a bit. It does cut down on the wind at the helm. I painted her from the brim of the flybridge up. I used interlux perfection. It came out ok. Sometime later this summer I'm going to try wetsanding and buffing the paint. I just want to use her for a while before I start the next project
