Well, it's time to go. Maybe not "go" but to sell the boat. Bitter sweet.
Sixteen yrs ago I really didn't know what I was in for when I was in the market for a boat
and came upon a Bertram 31.
Things changed for the better but now I will be 80 yrs old in Sept.
Better hang it up.

It is always tough to walk away. I give you a lot of credit at 80. I hope I can say the same thing.

Dick,
Sorry to hear that you are selling the boat. On the flip side, glad to hear you are well. Boat or no boat you are a part of the sandbox. Crank up the SL the first week of August and pass by Greenport.

That's right! You can't get rid of us that easily!! LOL! Once a part of the brotherhood always a part of the brotherhood, even if you don't have a boat! I know it is tough, but you have to do what you have to do! I am sure any one of us will be glad to give you a ride when you feel the need to get out on a Bertram again!

Dick, I believe I read about your acquisition of the 31 in Soundings magazine many years ago; it's been a good ride!

Dick,
Sell the boat without a regret! Give someone else a chance to make some new memories with it.
You have earned a spot on other peoples Bertrams and other assorted "boats"....time to just go out and enjoy...leave the ownership hassles to others.
Whenever I get around to sticking mine back in the water...the offer is always open. Want to go out before then...I have friends that will take us out.

Dick,
She went to a good home. She will live on. And she will be loved and well taken care of.
Come to Greenport!
