No seats, electronics, or headliner in the cabin installed yet, but I finally got sick of looking at it on the trailer.
I'll post more pic's as I progress.
That 1st ride sure felt good.

Pete,
8.1L GXi (375hp) w/Volvo DP o/d.
On GPS this morning, 35mph @ 3000rpm., 54mph @ 4400rpm (WOT)(two big guys, tools, and full tank of fuel, ~1' chop).
:) :) :) :) :)
Ian,
Don't think we'll be @ camp this weekend.
Too much going on here.
I'll be between QCM and the house (just down the street) all weekend.
Feel free to drop in as I'll be looking for an excuse to have a cold one.

Awesome John!
At 4400 rpm, you are right in the middle of the 4200 - 4600 range. I know you still have some weight to put in there. You should watch it closely.
Doesn't look like I will be keeping up with you when my Bahia 20 gets in the water.
What props do you have on there?
Ian.

I am thinking I may put the same type of stainless railing on my 20. Stern seating on the engine box might benefit from some type of set-up that would allow for higher cushions.
Need to get a Bertram get-together on Georgian Bay this summer.
Ian.

Very nice. Fast boat and sitting light. Leaves plenty of freeboard for adding a bunch of buddies and gear. Great job, enjoy.

Thanks guys.
Hard to believe I dragged that boat home all the way from Oklahoma about ten years ago.
The paint job is over seven years old.
Guess time flies when you're havin' fun and this boat got tucked away on the back burner more than afew times.
Cheers,
John

Great boat, and a great spot. I want to cruise Georgian Bay and the North Channel in the future.

John... I hear ya!!
Mine was tucked away for jeep projects, family health issues, etc, etc. I am happy to report that I am back at it as well. Hope mine comes out half as nice as your did.

Let me know if you guys are doing a Georgian Bay Rendezvous, it is only 20 hours driving from Kenora, each way, but who knows, I may go for it, particularly if I was coming to pick up a Hunt/O'day 14, 16 or 18!

With two weeks notice, I could probably make it. I'm on Lake St Clair.
