transom size

what is the rough measurement of the transom need to give to vinyl guy wont be able to get to my boat for a few days and need to keep this guys ball rollin he is very slow lol

Tom,
The width across the outer transom is 120" give or take an 1" for the year of the boat, mold shrinkage from the original 1961 mold to what ever year your boat is. The height from the bottom of the rub rail to the waterline is 28" give or take an 1". The 31 is wider amidships than at the transom.
