Deck Paint - Flattening Agent?

I'm getting close to painting the cockpit deck. I'm going to use Interlux Perfection oyster white w/non-skid stuff. Should I add a flattening agent to knock the gloss down or do you think it'll be alright as is.

John, we did our deck in gloss because the non-skid is pretty agressive, and the gloss is a lot easier to keep clean, plus it matches the surrounding paint. Personal opinion.

The non skid particles will knock the gloss effect out quite considerably...........do a test board first if you are painting yourself, I had the same thoughts and the test boards I did calmed me down when I looked at them on deck...............

Skip the flattening agent, nonskid particles give it a flatter appearance on their own. Spray them through your gun. BH
