Didn't you mean COW vehicle?!… IIRC, the Crown Vic was practically by default the police car of choice as it was the only rear wheel drive car in that category left…

Something tells me those guys do not approach many boats while underway for the purpose of a safety inspection. It would be like Austin Powers trying to turn around a golf cart in a narrow hallway.

It looks as if the guys in the water went in with their duty belts on.. submerged their guns, radios and what ever else they had.

Provided the guns, ammo, handcuffs etc were cleaned and oiled properly afterwards they wouldn't suffer… As for the radio, I doubt they were of the submersible type… But hey, it's only the tax payer's money…
What worries me more is the fact that the trailer got loose and obviously wasn't secured by chains… Had the trailer gotten loose on a highway people could have been killed!…
