Did you cut the transom down? Or was it already done?

Love the transom cut-out. Not sure I like the chine stripe location.

My 20 while sitting in the water has the chine buried. I slowly brought the bottom paint up and put the stripe on top with a hull colored "gap". Looks a bit off while on the trailer, but in the water keeps the water on the bottom paint, not the hull paint.

it was an original full transom that had 26" stainless marine set back on it


The idea was that he would just apply a little black bottom paint in that area that is under water, its only a foot or so hoping it comes up even a little bit due to the motor being right on the transom

Painted 2 20 sportsmans last year neither wanted to raise the stripe up, the other still an I/O boat.
