BEST MATERIAL IN BILGE

Post by Craig Mac »

A friend is looking to make a sub floor in the bilge between 2 motors. The span is 12-18" and was originally plywood.
What would be the best composite to use?

Craig,

Just depends on loading, but for 18" he'd probanly be fine with 3/4". If it will occasionally need to carry any significant weight, laminate two 3/4" pieces together...
