Turbo to mixer elbow gasket?

Post by Kevin »

I took the shower elbows off the turbos to get them powder coated. When I went to pick them up from the shop they said there was a gasket that came off of one of them when they were bead blasted. I don't remember seeing a gasket when I took them off. I had taken one mixer off in the past and don't recall seeing one then either. They are KKK turbos. K43's with V-band clamps attaching them to the mixers. Virtually nothing on K43 turbo with internet search. Do these need gaskets and if so do you think I could get them locally at NAPA?

Thanks Pat. Been a while and no call back. The gasket fits this flange perfect so I am rolling with it does need a gasket. Gonna make my own, it can't hurt.
