My goal was to get the mold.... ready and willing to pass the baton to the next runner.Joe E wrote:Buju, sorry to hear that. I hope everything is ok, let me know if I can help in any way.
If the group and Bertramp (Steve) is good with it I would be happy to take the lead. It will take me a week to get the mold ready to pull off of and I think I can pull two a week with my schedule.

Buju,
Hoping for the best on your MRI. I hope it turns out as well as you can hope for. I know about the body falling apart after years of not doing the things I knew I should have. Sucks to get old but beats the alternative.
Good Luck,
DanielM

As a suggestion maybe who ever is first, make the first one into a plug. Just a nice heavy strong layup with a flange then save that and you can always make more molds.
Nice piece to have good luck.

Tony Meola .... thank you ... got it and very much appreciate the gift for the wife.
She actually lived in Hillsdale at 73 Baylor and her kids (now 28 & 30) went to the local high school.
I'm probably going to meet with Ed Biggie in FL this weekend.

Steve
Been here for 17 years. Grew up a couple of towns over. When did she leave? Always like this corner of the County. We are tucked away from the maddening crowd of Paramus (shopping center of the world) but can be there in 10 minutes. Kinda of the best of both worlds.
Enjoy

Last we left it, Joe E said he could help out building the half molds. I don't think it went any place after that.

Bob...try shutting the Auto-Correction off on the I-pad
Go to "Settings"
First selection on the left is "General", give that a tap
Now on the right side go down a bit till you see "Keyboard", select that.
The second selection on the right is "Auto-Correction"...Toggle button to off.
As long as you leave the Spell Check on you will still be prompted to correct misspelled words by underlining them...but at least the damn thing won't be rewriting your entire post with gibberish when you hit "Send".

Just let me know if you want me to ask Skip. How many, and price target each.
Steve, if you wanted to, you could just ship it to either me or Skip at Brewer Street Boatworks, if we decide thats what we want to do.
I'm only trying to help, and don't need to be involved in any other way than to facilitate. Summer is a great time for him to do this kind of work, as they don't do a huge amount of glass work during summer.

I don't know if its pertinent but, while you're at it, can we discuss about a B28 half mold?

Re: Bertram 31 half mold
I would guess to start you are talking about at least 10 hulls. I am not sure if Buju is on board for this. If he is fine, if not we ask Dug's contact. Whomever, we get if they are a family member, then we need to make sure that they are compensated for their efforts. After all a stranger is going to make a profit on these.
