I'm in the process of re- bonding the boat. what are the latest color as per regs, yellow,green ? thanks russ

Thank God that was a question about wiring -- I thought for a minute someone wanted to hold hands and sing Kumbaya and we know the mean team would have had to become, well, mean.

I'm almost ready for a mean team battlefield promotion. I'm feeling since the roads here at slushy, muddy and plain crap, perhaps some splashed young children with their grandmothers in tow might put me over the top?

Russ Pagels,
The color is green and the wire size is #8 AWG tinned copper wire, use heat shrinked round captive lugs for all connection points, you might have to re-solder drops back onto the old flat copper bonding strip that is attached to the outside portion of the inboard stringers(along the outside of the fuel tank areas you will see the old strip. Everything that is in contact with salt water must be bonded, including engines, panel boards, shaft logs, etc. All leeds should end up at a central bonding point on the boat, such as a transom zinc or a dyna plate. You can check the ABYC standards under section E-11 electrical.
