Ouch!!!

Post by Harv »

As some of you may already be aware via Facebook, I smacked up the Land Yacht by trying to avoid an accident. For those not familiar, Wednesday morning, I was on my way to pick up Denise and Valeria to take them to school due to the extreme cold. An elderly lady was in front of me with her right turn signal on. At the corner, I proceeded to pass her on the left to continue driving straight. Just as my bumper reached her front door, she decides to turn left instead. The rest is history.

So did they find you 33% at fault for sucking oxygen in the same zip code?

Thanks everyone. I have one of those monitoring devices supplied by my insurance company and it showed me that I was only doing 16.7 when I applied the brakes, and my final speed was 4.6. I am no worse for wear than before the crash, but since Dec 8th, I have been seeking a second surgery for my shoulder due to a fall I sustained last March. Will probably set a date tomorrow when I see the surgeon.
