pneumatic hatch seals

I`ve just installed a brand new kohler genset under the cockpit sole, and just hate the location but don't have the resources to relocate it at the moment, and thought pneumatic seals could be an option, any thoughts from the faithful on this ,local suppliers seem to be very expensive for what to me seems like a simple system
