Morse Controls

Post by Ken M. »

I have the Morse MT2 single lever controls. The chrome is pitted, and they look awful. Thinking of replacing them with new MT3s.

Questions:

1. I've been told they're compatible. Is that true?
2. Is it possible to disconnect the cables from the head unit (the controls themselves) and simply connect them to a new set? If so, how do you disconnect the cables from the old set?

Thanks,

Ken

Ken

They do work, when I repowered I put them to replace the original on my 75. We ran all new cables. I would suggest given the age that you probably think about doing that.
