refrigeration question

Post by Todd Pearce »

My b42 has a large household fridge/freezer that sucks power like nothing else, we like to go away for a week or so at a time and don't want the generator running all the time so I am looking for a very well insulated marine unit, any suggestions ,brands , etc ,I want to stay electric for now but want a good size unit as we are a family of five, the ones I`ve seen on line don't appear to be freestanding ,would like to find one that is , but I can build a surround easy enough , if it means we get a better unit, thanks for reading this and for your input
Cheers Todd
Ps merry Christmas to all

Dometic would be my choice only because I have had nothing but flawless performance from mine in my toy hauler trailer for years, and Dometic has a marine line of them. This one looks to be only 75 watts consumption and is a larger than "small boat" unit.
