Re: couple pics from the trip
Thought I recognized those locks and the waterway. It's been a while. Need to do it again, putting it on the bucket list.
The first time was forty years ago at 5 knots on a sailboat from mile marker 1 at the mouth of the Elizabeth River to Key West. A fabulous way to conquer the mid-life crisis.

With the diesels at 5 knots, you could probably make it on one tank of fuel.
Re: couple pics from the trip
Looks like you had a good time. What were the barrels for, fuel?

Tom
Well glad to see you made it safe and sound. Those barrells remind me of the old Canyon Days when we always carried an extra 50. We had them plumb right into one engine, so no need to dump them into the tank.
How was the ride home? Weather was not in your favor.
How did she run?
Now enjoy her for a while before you start takinig her apart.

Nice
I'm not sure but indecision may or may not be my problem.
