the bucket list

Post by bob lico »

our turn of the century garage is completed and we brought our favorite to store. i love this car ;a 1909 Alco ,the winner of the Vanderbilt cup races for 1909 and 1910 also placed in the first indy 500. gas signs, gas pumps and auto antiques from all over country.

Bob

In your vintage car travels have you come across or do you know Brian Blain? He owns a 1911 and a 1916 National.

That's great! My dad had a '67 Shelby GT500. Not signed by Carroll but fastest car I've ever been in.

harry you can see it in person if you have the time when up for bertram event.i put my mind at the 1909 era and compare with 1909 model T ford . 20 hp versus 100hp . this car is a marvel of engineering for the time as you recognize the manufacturer Alco went on to make the biggest steam locomotive in the country. truly made in american with pride totally forgotten today.

Not totally Bob........folks on this website still have it.......

Even practice it myself to the point that a few of my family and friends refer to projects that "Funnerwat" and I do as "Babbitup"......

Went to a car show a couple of weeks ago.....one of the featured cars was an old Cadallic.....not sure what year but if they made them in the 40's......that's probably what it was.....Hell for stout! ! ! !
