April 2013 Fundraiser for Captain Patrick

Post by Dug »

While I know I will Never, Ever replace UV, it was usually he who kicked off fundraisers here. And it is clearly time.

Its been a while. Its been a heck of a year. And Patrick is still up to his good quality hijinks. Supporting us all, and humoring us when necessary. In fact, I just got off the phone with him, and again am hanging up the phone rich with advice of the highest quality.

Would you consider shooting a check to the king and originator of our dearly beloved sandbox? What would your life be without such a place? I know we each have our reasons, and we each appreciate it for different, as well as the same reasons. But I am firing off a check as soon as my hand stops pecking keys here on this computer.

Patrick, thank you. Endless thank you's. And to the rest of you, also a big hearty thank you. For everything! Now consider shooting Pat a check. Think Big. Think grand. (I'm sure he would appreciate one!). Whatever you do, think to send him some solid dollars.

I'm in. Are you?

Thanks!

Dug

The words of UV,

"Just sit down and write a check payable to "Patrick McCrary" and mail it - how about including a note from you thanking him for what he does for us? - to him at 834 Scott Dr., Llano, TX 78643....or stuff some green money in an envelope and send it. No credit cards, no PayPal, its not a commercial venture. Many of us send $100 or more, but anything will help."

I said this last year, I set Capt Pat up as an online bill pay. Point, click and a check is on it's way.

Down side is you can't include a nice mushy note....

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

To paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen, Dug, "you're no UV," but thanks for reminding us as UV would have about this time of year. You guys certainly make this B31 addiction much more fun as well as informative. Kevin, got the number and am on it.

Ya it's time! I think of this as a magazine subscription. Even though I would have received a yellow ( you subscription is about to run out) and a green (this is your last issue) reminders, it is important to pony up.

Dug you should have started this after tax day :(

i send something off Shortly Patrick........and thanks for the effort!

I have not been around for a while but I will buck up and send Captain Patrick a donation for keeping this site available. I sold my B26 years a go but I know one day I will have a B31 or larger.
