Guy's,
The St Lucie waterway locks(Cross Florida Waterway) in Stuart (First lock coming from in from Stuart) is closed to all boat traffic for the next 2 weeks to replace defective seals. The notice stated that they will beclosed for at least 2 weeks. So no boat traffic to the west coast across the state unless you go all the way down to the Keys. I will post as soon as they reopen the locks.

Re: St Lucie Waterway Locks Stuart Florida
Guy's,
The locks are back open after a month, If your going across the state, I noticed that just after the railroad bridge in Indiantown going West, the entire width of the waterway is choked solid with weeds, it's been in the mid 90's and the weeds are growing like crazy. Also use caution near the Indiantown Highway(Bee Line) bridge, they are building a new high rise bridge next to the old one, all kinds of barges, cranes and small workboats in the area.
