I am alive and well....getting back to the board at long last. My computer had to be reformatted, and in doing so I lost the address/passwords/etc to let me into the sandbox. Hopefully, thanks to Thuddddd, Mike and Capt P, all seems to be in order once again.
Finally got Extra Dry away from the dock today, and have a nice mess of yellowtail to show for it ( I take good fishermen with me). The sailfish bite is improving on a daily basis...One of my buddies had 7 yesterday morning......when it really heats up, I may have to give it a try......Pinas Bay spoils one!!!

I'll try to stay in the box more often.....thanks all for your concern!

With all the posting Timmy does, it is surprising that he has any time to work on the boat. But then again he is from the north Shore and can run to Lynn and pick up some addicts to work on the cheap!

Doc,

Great to hear you are doing well and catching fish. I was thinking of you on Saturday evening when the Saints won the game vs Eagles....I remembered your golf cart at OR with the eagles flag flying from it. Tell Nancy I said hello.

Doc,
Was in Islamorada two weeks ago for four days but had two women in tow. Took a friends 45 foot boat out of Shark Creek and cast netted about a hundred ballyhoo and fished for three hours for sails -nothing, so went in over the reefs and switched to wire leaders for nastier stuff caught a couple nice ciro mackrel and a huge mutton snapper.
Hoping to be down again in Feb some time and want to catch a clear with you. Sounds like Holiday Isle is getting bulldozed in April to make way for condo's. The newly redone Lorelei was really a great spot. Love the Keys !

Doc, glad to see your hanging in there. Lndda & I ventured out Monday MLK's b-day and boy was it rough. We landed one 65# sail and a Dolphin for dinner. Today we hung inside and and hooked up with the typical inshore fare. We plan on a trip to the keys next month, I'll keep you posted. Maybe you could show us your snapper hole.
Good kuck,

Russ, you know that if you're in the area, give me a call. I'll be glad to take you to my 'now infamous' snapper hole. And that goes to all of you faithful who might venture to the Keys. I just hope that you're not disappointed when you pull a yellowtail out of that 'hole'
