Elite Marine Parts

Post by EliteCarl »

Hey Guys, I finally made it here thanks to Capt. Pat. I just wanted to post pictures of one of our latest Bertram refits. I also have 28 Bertram and Bahia Mar parts available. If you're interested, please contact me.

jp thats what i was talking about.the bridge is slightly raise so that the twin raymarine units sit at a 30 degree angle making them a little more user friendly as raybo pointed out.when you are sitting down do you get glare at the flatter angle? i was thinking they should sit a little more like a computor screen. what do you think?incidently that is the best live well i have ever seen on a 31 bertram.

jp i just wanted to run it by you.with your professional offshore experiance does that angle hinder your view of the unit because if it does not i would keep it at the same height .mount the 12" unit right to the top (maximun angle)and then just a flat mounting angled surface out of coosa board and paint to match.it would end up similar to yours but right to top (your gauge area).what due you think???

Hey guys, I have spoke with Carl a few times and he will sell you any of the parts to do these upgrades. One thing he does sell is the front window insert. He will send you pics of how the work is done. I have researched this quite a bit and have studied how Bob Lico did his and Carl's looks every bit as good or better than the unit that Bob and others had to tussle with. Waiting to pull the trigger on the window insert first then who knows...

Wayne

Thanks. I think we keep on forgetting about Elite Marine since he never really advertised a lot and you know the story out of sight out of mind.

Would be interested in how the front window inserts work out for you.

Tony, when I pull the trigger I will definitely post progress pics. I'm working up the moxy to jump into that project. I know once it is done it will snowball into other things which isn't necessarily bad, just possibly bad on the marriage... Lol
