When redoing the fuel system on this DD project, using the new fuel filter caps/bases means the original steel fuel lines no longer fit. Before I take on another challenge (getting proficient at bending 3/8 steel tubing), I thought I'd run it by here to see if there are any other options?
Ricky, Go with the blue marine fuel lines, with push on ends, no bending at all, cut to fit, drop of oil on fiitting, push in until yellow cap bottoms out. Parker makes some great products, I had a ton of connections not a single leak, primed the system and the engines jumped to life..BH

Bob, I used the same blue lines w the push on fittings, perfect, just wonder if hey are commercial approved, a friend has a 41 Viking and needs to replace his lines and the blue Parker w fittings is a better price , he's just concerned about it passing a survey, mine passed no problem.
I just bought 40' of this material and multiple fittings from John Bowen, at Elite Diesel, in Clear Lake. Joe, in the parts department gave me wholesale prices. You may want to check them-out, if you are nearby.
