Almost as pretty as the real thing.

Made locally? True scale model?

What are the dimensions?

Yes it is made locally by a retired navy officer.

It is about 2 feet long , and he made it based on pictures.

Can't tell how happy I am with it !!!!

Very Nice! I wish I had the time to do that. Or find someone who does.

Gert

Was that produced from a "Solid Modeling" process or "Handcrafted"

She is beautiful.........I'm sure every Bertram guy would like one of those.

Given enough time and with the right tooling I am sure I could never make anything like that.

Love it!

Gert,

There are several model makers, including one officially commissioned by Ferretti/Bertram for their 50th, and none hold a candle to your Dutch model maker.

I notice that he even made the model with over sized rudders. Of course that isn't stock B31, but he was just going by your rudders, which by the way I sold to Russ back in 2000 and were the very first pair of my over sized rudders to be sold and grace the B31. That was several hundred pairs ago.

Damn, you Dutchmen do fine work.

Thats a great looking model. Is it made of wood or some other material? Id really like to see how he cast that bertram logo and the side intakes. I bet that was a challenge.
