Bertram 25 Restorer

Post by Morning Wood »

I am in Fla right now and was wondering if anyone knows the name of a gentleman who restores 25 Bertrams? I found a newspaper publication while surfing 25 Bertram images on line. But can't find it again. He is located in or near Palm Beach. He does very meticulous work and while I was here wanted to look him up. He restores other boats but is known for his Bertram restorations. He is in his late 60s. Didn't know if anyone knew of this gentleman.

He is working out of his western annex these days. Its a wee bit west of Palm Beach. Appointment only.

Call for directions once you hit Austin.

And, don't tell him if you are an attorney. He doesn't change his prices, but he is kinda sick of A-type, in a hurry, fast talkin, up tight, know-it-all mo fo's these days.

There is actually a number of custom Bertram restorers in town.

May not have been Pat.

What was the vintage of those pics if you can remember.

You got off lucky on this one. If the reel head of the mean team was to see this, it would really get ugly.

"Local wise asses?" Is that anyway to refer to your disciples? Seriously, did Jesus to to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and say "Hey, why don't I call you Larry, Curly, Moe and Shemp?"

Then again, you do own a cat and KonaKai says that explains a lot!
