Bertram Video

Post by John F. »

If this has already been posted, my apologies. The link was put up over on the B25 site. Lots of B31 stuff, and Tom Ward appears at the end.

Alright all you experts.

Never apologize for a good link, saw it and saw it again!

If it's worth seeing, it's worth seeing again.

My new stolen Carl-ism...cause I thought I seen or heard that somewhere.

Too bad the new boats don't seem to hold a candle to the ol' 31's. No first hand experience thou...

The first 38's were built on a scaled up 31 hull. They were real Battlewagons. I suspect whatever happened between Bertram/Hunt/Napier revolved around the extension of that original hull design. With today's Diesel engines, that 38 would have been faster and more economical to run. It sure ran like a tank through anything and was a luxurious boat.

The shot right after that looks like Capt. DQ's boat.
