As the proud owner of an 8 month old male black lab, named Kona Kai, I can attest to the breed's love for the water, and pleasing humans. I got Kona at the end of April and when we started going down to the beach house in May he quickly decided he would rather run on the beach and jump in and swim in Long Island Sound than go into the house. As soon as we get within 4 miles of the beach, he starts sniffing and gets excited - once I open the car door, I know it is off to the beach we go - not that I am complaining.

Man's best friend in deed!!!!!! Must be the Eukanuba, because that is all he has eaten since he was weaned off his mother.
