UV... been talking to my girl?

Post by Buju »

Yesterday I took my wife and son out on the flats boat for some general fun in the sun time. On the way back to the ramp, the tilt/trim would not engage to trim the motor up. So I carefully got the boat on the trailer with the motor down, and loosened the manual release screw, to manually lift the motor for trailering. For some reason, it wouldn't release. So at that point I was kinda stumped and stood there for a while just thinking of what to do about my situation. My wife, sincerely trying to be helpful, looks at me- motions to the motor and says "why don't you spray it with corrosion x?"
I just cracked up laughing...

Anyway just wanted to share that....Turns out it was a faulty relay, problem solved... still not sure why it didn't manually release though.

CX would have fixed it, of course that would be a point for the Mrs.

Gotta love a woman that recognizes corrosion X! She deserves a point. Brian
