ok bruce you won that round! you stop me in my tracks making that exact installation and a "solid 30knot cruise" i get that all day with 330 cummins and a hell of a lot better fuel economy . notice the recessed structs dann he got me on that one . he running about 2 knots faster at wot with 880 hp compare to 660hp . you won---not worth it engines are still in shed.

I have to agree with Bob about the Cummins. I love my B-series engines, so simple and the parts are pretty cheap. They just keep running.
