Yanmar 4LHA Turbo Model

Does anyone knows the type and model of the trubo that came with the Yanmar 4LHA-STE (230hp) and the 4LHA-STP (240hp)

I currently have the 4LH-STE and it carries a IHI (Japanese brand) turbo and is very expensive. I was wondering if one of those models carry an american brand turbo.

The 4LH engines all used the same brand, ie IHI turbo.

The 230/240 are the same exact engine. They just changed the way they rated the HP.
The "A" just stand built in America.

Common turbos are AirResearch-Garrett/American, KKK/German.

Don't think you'll find a crossover.

Part numbers are listed as Yanmar numbers but I might be able to crossover for you to the IHI number next week when I get back to the shop.
It may be a proprietary number made just for Yanmar.
