And please remember when you sit down to have your Thanksgiving meal to give thanks for our troops scattered all over the world.. they all volunteered to serve and keep us back home free!

This year I have a lot to be grateful for -- especially surviving my car wreck -- however, the sentiment about remembering our troops is foremost the best thought for thanksgiving day -- because of them, we get to spend the day with our family!

If we're still walking around, we have a lot to be thankful for...not the least of which is our good fortune to have met each other on this site. Thank you Patrick again, for the umpteenth time!

An Irish Blessing for Thanksgiving

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear
bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
