enclosure freashwater wash down

Post by Marlin »

anyone had any experiance with a method of pressure washing the salt off the front of the enclosure when on the high seas, with my walk around its easy, fresh water pump capable of 45 psi, windshield washers to spritz the salt away

Don't know how your bridge is set up for storage, but a quick connect fitting hidden in under the helm or in a locker with a length of coily hose hidden somewhere on the boat that you can hook up as you see fit might prove the best. Hook it up while fishing or running and put it away before you get to the dock, without a u-zip fresh water will probably be your best friend.

It always seems that any amount of fresh water at any pressure (even one of those crappy PAR pumps) helps a ton to improve visibility. A quick shot with the hose and a squeegy dry makes all the differnce.

I guess you added some more fresh water capacity to old girl? You must be getting close to running out of places to put things.
