Purchasing a Bertram 31

Post by Swordfish7 »

Good Afternoon and thanks in advance for any advice. I am interested in buying a 1970 Bertram 31. I have always admired these boats since i was a teenager in the early 70s.
The boat I am looking at was re-powered with Cummings Diesels in 2001 and has new wiring, awlgrip and appliances.
Is there a way to research the boat and are there other things I should be checking before committing?
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
Where are you located? There may be one or more of us in your area that can help.
Always get a reputable surveyor to do his or her thing.

One for the boat and one for the motors...

This could be a sellers worst nightmare...or a dream come true...having the whole Get Together show up to check out a boat.
