Mike - apparently it works if the boat sits, but comes off with any movement. CX's original report that it worked came from one of their big customers, the Port of Auckland, NZ and was used on large slow-rotating props. A bunch of the Faithful tried it and it came off the running gear. I used it on a 15 h.p. Honda outboard prop and it came off. No dice is the short story.

Walter,
The Pettit is gray. I wish we could get that old clear stuff that they outlawed about ten-years ago. That stuff was bullet proof to all growth. By the way, my Icom GPS shut down over the winter. I will make one attempt to give it a CX bath and then declare it dead. If that does not work, it is yours for parts.

Harry yes I have used the Petit product and do not feel it did any better than bottom paint. At $24.00 per can and two coats still was not happy.
Went to nothing but bottom paint last spring and Digger has been in the water all winter. I have no barnicals on the trim tabs and the transom is clean.

I have found that life can be short. Hope I am not late?
