Hey-great website Hueso but one question
I dated a girl a while back from PR and she would bring frozen ziplocks full of a green spice mixture that she would add to other foods, mostly rice and it was great. I remember it having alot of garlic-she said it was typical of the every day cooking. Any idea what that was?
Thanks,
Matt

Hueso- Your pics got me trying to convince the Boss that we should fly down to PR next weekend with the kids. There are some super fares out of NY right now. It was a go, until the kids said they want to go skining instead, because their friends will be there. I need a respite from all this snow.

Matt:

It is called SOFRITO and it is in the site I posted. That is the basis of almost all Puerto Rican food.

J:

Your kids must be punished. Do not let them in at the cabin when they come back from skiing. Today 90 degrees, SSE winds at 8 mph.....seas calmed like syrup. Your kids will have to pay for this one.

Shame on you. You are a newlywed, you aren't supposed to think that way quite yet, plus you are trying to get Huesso to be your personal Hugh Heffner taking pictures for you. LOL
