DEEEZ NUTS that is.
Black Sea Bass fishery just closed in federal waters from NC North for 180 Days.
WTF are you supposed to fish for this fall.
Major negative impact on local party and charter boats. Guess dogfish will be the new white fish in North America.
F-ing ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta buy more ammo the revolution has to be close at hand.

JP, just dig a small pond in the back yard and fish for Coy's with a cane pole and bobber, and hope the birds don't beat you to them first.

The permits you need to dig the pond are f$%king ridiculous... my neighbor just did it.
That being said, black sea bass are not the same as tautog, so I'm good I think...phew!

Here in Jersey the tog limit is 1 per man until mid-November, so losing sea bass really hurts

Well, they closed down the Fluke fishery early. presently the Porgy fishery is closed with the Sea Bass fishery closing down on Monday. That puts a lot of pressure on the Striped Bass (you can keep one), and the Tautog for the end of the season. Great Government and DEC logic.
