Never bite off more than you can chew

Post by Harry Babb »

These pics were sent to me from a friend/local Speckle Trout fisherman. I am ASSUMING the story to be true.

The pics are said to originate form an Alabama DCNR officer who was on a Roving Creel Survey.

"Two of our samplers were doing a roving creel survey this morning (8/23/09) in Little Lagoon (Alabama) and came upon this freshly deceased spec (pics attached). Fish is 28 in long."

At any rate the Speckle Trout is a trophy in itself......

The guy holding up the fish has the same bunch of flies around him as the guy in the gadget thread.

Shit, the mullet that killed him is a trophy in it's own right.
I don't know what the world may want,
But a good stiff drink it surely dont,
Think I'll go and fix myself...a tall one.

LOL I was thinking the same thing myself...must be an epidemic as it has hit the Eastern States from Alabama to New York. I think they are called Incognito Flies...
