31 Bertram Sportfish w/twin diesels - $75000 (Annapolis area)

1977 Bertram 31 Fly Bridge Cruiser. Few boats in history have received the acclaim and kudos as the 31 Bertram. Considered by most authoritys the best built built power boat ever produced. This particular boat has twin 300hp diesels with 500 hrs, twin disc transmissions, hydrolic steering, large rudders, 2 sets of wheels: 21 inch three blades and 20 inch 4 blades, new Acuamet 22 shafts (spare set of shafts as well), dripless shaft seals, Westerbeake 3.5 Kw diesel genset. Boat has aluminum 1/2 tower with hard top and three sided enclosure and 10 rod holders across the rear railing.
On bridge there is a 10 inch screen Raymarine 48 mile open array radar and a 10 inch Raymarine depth sounder/ gps plotter using a 1000 watt airmar "through the hull" transducer, so no ugly/speed robbing transducer under the hull. Icom VHF with 20 ft antenna, and a Garmin gps as a redundant backup. Two compass on bridge as well, one large one small. 316 Stainless reproduction of the classic Bertram bow chock as well as original bronze one convey, stainless bow rail, front windows glassed over for a leak free modern sportfish look, side windows were removed and frames powder coated black and new dark tint one piece glass installed in thick commercial rubber gasket. This eliminates any rattles, or leaks and further updates the boats appearance. The cockpit has been updated with a fiberglass deck made by Glasstec in Florida, there is a 130# rated Murray Bros ladder back fighting chair, cockpit side panels and interior headliner upgraded to pvc board for maint free easy cleanup, custom 2 inch thick engine box cushions, entire boat was rewired in 2000 with heavy 6/8 gauge marine tinned wire. Hull was professionally awgripped Flag Blue color in 2007. 30x12 inch Bennett trim tabs, all through hulls above the water line are 316 stainless. Original small perko sea cocks replaced with huge bronze versions. In the salon there is a settee to the left with ultra leather blue cusions (same as v berth). to the right is the head with Jabsco tilet and fiberglas sink, just forward of the head is the galley with a recent Norcold 120/12v fridge and another sink, under sink is 11 gallon stainless hot water heater, boat has 16,000 BTU a/c and reverse cycle heat, stereo cd system with 300 watt amp,6 Bose speakers and marine bazzoka tube hidden in salon ceiling.
Outriggers are lee 22 ft and poles were recently replaced. There is a glasstec fiberglass swim/dive platform on the transom. This boat has been used offshore in tournaments and is in the water ready to fish today. This boat is set up for comfortable offshore fishing as well as day cruising with the family-sleeps 4 comforatbly inside and two more on engine boxes outside.
