how lond to go from annapolis to solomons???

Chesapeake Guys,

How long do you think this trip will take at a decent cruise? I haven't been for awhile. Of course I am trying to go Friday and may get hosed by the storm, the storm surge is my worry on my pier not my manhood or the boat. I am excited to possibly take the boat in some fun weather.

Take a look, but I think its about 50 miles.

it's 45 - 50 miles i am thinking 2.5-3 with normal winds. If it is bad i think about 1 hour more. Just wanted to get any accurate experiences. I have done a sailboat race to solomons and just in case any body is wondering, it takes alot longer. We actually put out our anchor to stop getting pushed back by the tide.
