B28 cockpit panel re-hab

Post by jrwolfe »

Awhile ago someone posted a re-due of the cockpit on a B28 with the cockpit panels removed and the sides equipped to store fishing rods. They covered the inside of the hull sides with something. Can't remember what is was. Any ideas what it was or who did it. Can't find it on the search.

I just finished redoing mine without panels on the portion aft of the step in the cockpit - haven't taken photos yet. I used KiwiGrip non-skid on my decks and continued it up the sides - looks great and the KiwiGrip covers the imperfection on the sides really well. I didn't fair the sides at all.

If you are looking for a nice smooth shiny surface, that isn't it. But if you are looking for a no-nonsense, hose-off, clean look that is quick and easy - try KiwiGrip. - I would do it again.
