Just want to check with you guys. Picked the isolator up and am ready to install. The only question is does it need to be connected to the bonding system on the boat. Looked at the building tips section but just want to be sure
Thanks

Actualy Pat thats not correct.
The isolator permits ac currents but blocks the dc currents that can occur because of boats with dissimilar metals in the water.
One terminal is the shore ground, the other is the boat ground and AC ground which is all tied together. Since the engines are tied to the bonding system, that ties everything to the boat side of the isolator.
Take a look at the Guest paper work and wiring diagram from Patricks boat. I believe its in the generator folder.

Thanks Guys, The way i read the diagram is the ac ground is tied to the negative ground on the engine or the battery. That way all grounds on the boat are connected. If i am not right let me know
Thanks
