Repower is complete

Post by Bill Mckinnon »

Today was a great day. Commissoned the engines today. Boat performed real well. We are getting 32 knots wot with the boat loaded. Have a few cosmetic things to do. Yard did a great job and were easy to work with. Link below of sea trial. It is a short video

Bill,
The inside of that tank looked very close to the same as the inside of mine and I don't ever recall putting gas in it that had ethanol. I feel much better with the new one in and secure.

Nice clean installation. It won't take long to get anywhere at 32kts. Congradulations.

I'm not sure but indecision may or may not be my problem.

Want to say thats to all the guys on here esp. Capt Pat. After years of watching all the information here and all the good tips made the process a whole lot easier. And the extra speed is a bonus since it is a forty mile plus run to the good water here. Looking forward to getting the boat back on the tournament circuit. Anthony Black and is staff at Rockville Marine were great to work with ( He also did the repower on Old School). Any one comes this way will be happy to take them for a ride.

Thanks

Very nice - clean install - great looking boat - and she looks like she is riding higher too - I'm guessing those engines are quite a bit lighter. very very nice.

It never fails to amaze me how flat the wake is on a Bertram running at true planing speeds. My 33 is the same way once its over 20 knots. Thank god for diesels.
