Thanks, Frank...

Now consider this:

The current bulletin board is less than 3 years old, (installed July '06), the site was started over 9 years ago, (November 1999). In those previous 6 years, there were 3 updates to the bulletin board, & only the 3rd was achieved, (12 October 2004 - 2 July 2006, or 21 months). It contains 23,256 messages. I'm guessing the first two, collectively over a 5 +/- year period, had over 45,000 posts.

Bringing the estimated number of posts for the 9+ years to over 100,000... An average of a little over 900 posts a month. For the past 3 or so years, the board has averaged over 1,000 posts a month.

OK, enough already.... I hear Uncle Vic yawning.

Everyone's donations keep Pat from selling banner advertising to cover the cost of ben gay and those little blue pills in his old age.

With his stats, he could be advertising pork rinds out the wazoo.

And that Bengay is gettin' expensive!

But a good side effect of it's massive use is that critters, such as roaches, mice, scorpions, spiders, rattlesnakes and other nocturnal vermin can't stand the fumes and either die or leave for more user friendly sancturaries. Down side is that it also chases away the local girls...

Some times when fly fishing in MT the black flys get really bad and we use Ben Gay on our wrists and neck to keep them away. It works great.

I'm gonna have to try that instead of the bug repellant, unless UV says that CX works better.
