Interior Window Frames

Post by CaptPatrick »

For those of you either doing or anticipating doing away with the stock side windows and aluminum frames, and glazing the glass as done on "Fortuna" and "Chimera", here's a couple of pages of work that I'm doing on Patrick Hancock's B31.

It seems that no matter how you finish the inside of the windows its a pain in the ass. We went with teak trim on the inside and there were enough angles and curves to make one want to puke.

Capt. Pat,
Is there any way to make your inside trim ring 2 piece and sell it with the window kit. Maybe leave some long ends for a single joint top and bottom. Kind of like a sand or trim to fit you could even add a frilly valance for the ladies
