Yanmar price increase

Post by Bruce »

I got a notice that Yanmar is raising its prices on Nov 1.

If you've been putting off buying spares, now would be the time to pick them up.

I know times are tough but at least don't put off doing basic maintenance on your engines of any make. Its easy to do when moneys tight but will likely cost more down the road in repairs.

Just a heads up.

Bruce,

This is for zincs, parts, filters, etc I am guessing?

Thanks for the heads up! I just bought all filters etc. about 3 weeks ago. Phew!

They sold me the secondary fuel filters, and I think I know where they go, but I will be damned if I can figure out how to take them apart!

Be sure to drain the bowl first into a cup. When you undo the center bolt, it usually separates from the bowl dumping what's in there into the bilge.
