Transmission gauge

Post by Capt.Frank »

First Iam glad we missed the bullet again. Just sound flooding. I hope that all the forcasts for IKE are wrong and spares the gulf a one, two punch.

I am re-doing my dash panel and my old panel had transmission pressure gauges but no senders on the trans. My question is should I put pressure or temp gauges on my trans (BW)?

Thanks

I would think that it would be a matter of preference......pressure gage or temp gage............Personally I would prefer Temperature Gage.....

Its just that I think that the transmission is more likely to overheat due to a heat exchanger problem than it is to have a pressure problem.
