Ruuder grease and engine paint

Post by Thums Up »

I am getting ready to put my rudders back in the boat, what grease do you guys recommend? Is tuff gel a good option?

Also, getting ready to paint the motors, Everyone seems to like Imron for motor paint but now most people are stopping to carry it. I rememeber someone in the past recommending Sherwin williams automotive paint. Any thoughts and recommendation for which paint and what will match the new cummins white? Thanks.

I've always used the Cummins spray paint, but if you buy it a a Trucking store, it's half the price. Walter

I touch it up every season. By the way, belts and basic parts are usually available at truck supply places that have a Cummins sign. Walter

If you have TuffGel on hand, it's a very good option, but any good waterproof axle grease is fine too...
