Clamps for stuffing box hose

Hi.
I'm replacing the clamps and am checking to see if the T style hose clamps are sufficient. The heavily corroded clamps I removed looked to be left over from a previous century. Wide heavy iron bands secured with 1/2" bolts.
Thanks in advance for your recommendation.

I've spent a ton of money replacing all of my exhaust hose clamps and dripless clamps on my B28, putting double clamps on each and every one. As far as I am concerned, the "T" bolt clamp is one of the best as long as you get them in a decent stainles alloy like 316 or even 303. Those hoses that I couldn't get "T" bolt for, I still doubled up. One can't imagine how many clamps that makes on twin engines and on all your hoses, but I've experienced some scary moments when I was a younger boat skipper that had some obscure clamp under the engine or on the outboard side give way and the bilge suddenly looks like a swimming pool.

Now that's a clamp. Titanium stopped bullets from hitting me in the ass on a Rescue Chopper, it can damn sure stop corrosian. I'd use these for very wet areas, but I'll bet they'd be pretty pricey to do a whole boat like I've done several times. But I've put that web site in my favorites. They look awsome.

One of the clamps that come with the PSS seals rusted through in 15 months...all the others were OK, now all replaced but could not believe it...right at the ventilated part...rusted out. Checking them every six months from now on.
