1st ride of the season

Post by davidms »

To all y'all southerns who have the luxury of year-round boating, we had a great spring weekend up here in the Northeast this weekend. Our boat splashed last week and we got her cleaned up during the day yesterday. Then took a late afternoon cruise around the bay. First ride of the year. For those of you not in the NE, we had a bright, sunny, 75 degree day with a light breze. A perfect ending to a great day.

By the way, thanks to all who posted their opinion on the safety device thread. Seems the Faithful were mostly in agreement (except for the alcohol vs Bikini thing). I always learn something about boats/boating from the members of this board. Thanks again.

I wish sometimes that we had seasons to make you appreciate things more.

But then again........

Just think with global warming you'll be in the tropics in just a few short years with year round boating.

Of course by then fuel will be 50/gallon.
