boarding steps

last year one of the tab hooks that pivot into the slots in the side panels snaped off.does anyone know where i can get one,i only need to replace one as i would prefer to be able to utilize the existing steps that came with the boat

I believe Marquipt made the boarding steps for Bertram. They stock discontinued parts for these steps. I purchased the receiving piece that mounts to the side panel. I believe the have the part that inserts into the steps. The website is www.marquipt.com. They had a booth at the FL Boat Show in fall and were very helpful.

On mine, which are original '66 vintage, they appear to have been fabricated out of aluminum T stock. They don't look hard to make with a bandsaw and a file if you can find the right size stock.
